Christ Church Building Plan Given Final Approval
Last night the Rockaway Township planning board authorized a final resolution approving building plans for Christ Church. The Church was represented by Sidley Austin LLP and the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty.
The Township and the Church had been at odds over restrictions proposed by the Township, including one which would have prevented the church from holding any activities on Friday nights and restricted the church to two services on Sundays. That condition was dropped from the final agreement.
