Church of the Hills Permitted to Expand Facility
Bedminster Township, New Jersey, and Church of the Hills have reached a settlement that will allow the Church to add a 48,000 square-foot addition to its current site, an 18,500 square-foot converted horse barn. The church sued after the township denied it a crucial zoning ordinance, in violation of RLUIPA. The Township must also pay Church of the Hills $150,000.
