CA Court Finds City Violated RLUIPA, First Amendment, in Buddhist Temple Case

A California District Judge ruled that the city of Garden Grove California could not prevent members of the Vietnamese Buddhism Study Temple in America from assembling and practicing their faith on property the temple owns within the city.  In his order for Preliminary Injunction, Judge Cormac J. Carney wrote that the Temple "has shown that it will suffer clear irreparable injury" if worship services and other events continue to be obstructed.
