Tabernacle Community Baptist Church Challenges Zoning Variance Denial

On April 18, 2006, Tabernacle Community Baptist Church filed a
complaint against the City of East Point, Georgia after the Planning and Zoning Commission denied the Church a variance to build a house of worship. The complaint claims that the denial of the variance amounts to violations of the U.S. Constitution, Georgia Constitution, and RLUIPA.
